The purpose of this book is to encourage authentic churches to grow in their effectiveness in ministry. This Is accomplished done through prayer, preaching, teaching and equipping God’s saints to develop and implement much needed outreach ministries in the communities they serve. With the Holy Spirit’s assistance, God’s can provide power to infuse these ministries equally as powerful as the ones which were present in the first century church.

In the Hands of the Savior (Matthew 12:20, 21), Bruised Reeds and Smoking Flaxes can be healed.  Bruised reeds are those whose lives have been damaged and are not able to play music or sing a melody of joy. The world has broken and bruised and battered their lives. While society declares they are not worth repairing, the Church boldly contends that they are not only worthy but can be restored.

This book highlights in four chapters, a thirteen week course and a test on evangelism.  It is a great resource to strengthen church outreach emphasis and the church’s ability to aid in transforming the lives of the broken.
